Hand made using traditional tools and techniques, this basket is a beautiful and functional design which showcases the talents of crafts men and women in Vietnam. The Ren Baskets nests inside the Lagra Basket (the bigger sister of the Ren Basket) so when not in use they take up minimal space. Ideal for every day use, this basket is multi-functional and versatile.
Each basket is carefully made by hand, by talented crafts men and women in Vietnam, using traditional tools and techniques. In a lovely soft, natural finish, these baskets are made from seagrass exclusively for us by Artisans in Vietnam and then wrapped and woven in white plastic string. When the seagrass is picked from the fields, it starts off green, but as it dries, it turns into a lovely soft natural colour. Being hand made, each basket is unique and may differ slightly from piece to piece with small imperfections a charming reminder of its humble process.
